A few songs into the English Teacher set and they are excellent. They're pretty new to me, I've only heard 1 song I think, but I'll be listening to the album on my commute tomorrow.
Wolf Alice are always outstanding, Rowsell is one of the best songwriters and performers of the last decade for me. So talented.
I really liked their earlier stuff. Seen that new bloom song the other week live and it honestly sounded like a cat had a minute left to live.
I like their tunes when she sings normally. When it goes into psycho screaming, it just loses it for me.
I get that, but I think it just adds to the variety in their songs which makes them interesting to me. Even though she's "psycho screaming" as you call it, it's still so controlled. She's got a brilliant voice.
She has. They offer lots of variety definitely. Come a canny way since the early days. Think I have seen them maybe 3 or 4 times live.
Absolutely brilliant again, I think you're on the wrong side of history with this one. It's absolutely quality.
That version was better than the one I heard the other week. Still not too keen on the pitch of some of the vocals.
