Expensive comment. 5 game ban and 100k fine. Did it curb his aggression? Came back after suspension and red card for stamping on Dele Alli. Shelvey subsequently consulted a psychologist about his rages.
I'm pretty sure Hughes is staying with us. My basis for this is that he was on the next self scanner to me at Tesco St Stephens and he was buying a cutlery set and a green vase. No player that's making a move would buy those items pre move, it's madness. A vase can break so easily. That's the third player I've seen in there at the exact same checkouts. Previous encounters were Aaron Connolly after a game with his missus buying a sandwich and a while ago Jacob Greaves with his friend buying general food items. The odd thing is I rarely use that place so either it's a City players hotspot or I'm very fortunate.
Unless they were leaving gifts for his colleagues . And are you sure it was just one sandwich for Connolly, not the full sandwich buffet platter? Great research though.
Fair point, never considered that. Cutlery for Acun and a Vase for the training ground so the players can keep fresh flowers in there to remind them of him. Connoly was actually asking the woman about the meal deal, I think he was unhappy with the scanned price. He probably spent 2k on vodka in a club later that night but I guess if its a deal you want those crisps discounting!!
Matija Frigan translates as Matty Fryatt... make of that what you will... we're also interested in Aran Mclennavic...
Not saying it's right (I think football should take a leaf out of RUs book) but I wonder how much gets said to white British players but never gets reported? I'm sure loads gets flung at them during games but nobody bothers.
