Too much going on for me in the background that is distracting. I'd like to hear his vocals just with the girl on the acoiustic behind. It's ok if the focus of the song is insturmental...but it just seems some are there for the sake of being there, so we must make this song work around everyone. I'll have a listen another day and see if my view changes. Ok I'll **** off now lol
I don't think they are going to show them unless they behave but I think they'll play and get a good crowd.
Update: at the 11th hour, the BBC have managed to secure the rights to broadcast Neil Young's set. He'll be shown live on BBC Two at 10pm.
Brilliant, actually done the reverse of what I said but it works. One or the other had to go, I can tune into this version so much better, and he's a good vocalist so it's a shame when it's getting ruined by the instrumental side of things, now both mix perfectly. I keep thinking of Jimmy Somerville when I see him lol.
He's an enigma... and a head case ... my girls got us tickets as a Fathers Day present ... Best one I've had tbf
Random banger as I'm sitting in the garden on a fifth can of Kronenberg ... well it is Sunday ffs ... (and baking spuds are in the oven - no offence @Spurlock )
Ah yeah I remember you mentioning Cardiff Castle now, didn't realise it was to see him. I get fixated on the music and sometimes forget who's actually singing it lol
We're decent last night, not enough of the old classics for my liking. Make sure you get there to see Shed Seven support, they're excellent live.
