Having been in the building game for the last 20 years of my working life, this meant a very early rise and a breakfast was often missed<wah>.
I was always partial to heavily done toast:emoticon-0152-heart

It is thought that the building game runs on a full English every day - I can assure you it’s not! It was always a treat When I had one :emoticon-0148-yes: two slices of toast is the normal for me , with poached eggs if I’ve got time :emoticon-0158-time:

Between the ages of around 35 to 45 I had a full English pretty much every morning of the working week, around half past six.
Delicious, but it nearly killed me :emoticon-0153-broke

I got so hooked on it, that on the rare occasions when the particular cafe I went to was closed, or if I had to do early site work and could not stop in there, I would be excessively grumpy for the rest of the day.
    Full English withdrawal symptoms <doh>

For a Saturday away game out of Euston or Kings Cross I would always go to the same cafe on Eversholt Street next to Euston Station, I believe they are still going strong.

I would always have either a Sausage or Bacon roll, no sauce. Two of these with a cup of tea would start the day very well.

As a single man not taking after Gordon Ramsay, I would be partial to either Weetabix or Rice Crispies.

Oh yes, I'll go with that.

The problem being not being able to rely on the weather, but also very expensive and in many cases cheaper to holiday abroad.

Devon and Cornwall come to mind as lovely places to visit, to bring the thead back on track, down there I would indulge in a pasty whatever time of the day.

I cannot stand eating first thing and have always been the same. My pre-noon diet consists of coffee and snouts. I'll never change.
