Quality keeper he’s home grown 3rd choice as we’ve loaned out Davies and Jaros so just a box ticking exercise to ensure don’t lose one of the 17 foreign slots to a foreign 3rd choice keeper.
He was very promising once but then never see.ed to improve. Probably now a decent goalkeeper but not top notch.
Think he has decent enough if not spectacular spells in the championship but when he got the games for us in the PL he was soooooo bad. Was gutted because during the Ashley era it was always him that people had the high hopes for. He could never get near shots hit on the deck at him
Looks like Joao Pedro agreement will be reached. Definitely end for Wilson. Not sure if that means Elanga/RW won’t be pursued but I think we will potentially turn to someone more unknown like Bakayoko or Akliouche.
Brighton won't give him away for cheap, they negotiate tough, ie Cucurella and Caicedo....although obviously we aren't as dumb as Chelsea.
