I'm not sure what the official line is tbph. As for the FB poster, I think the sentence was harsh, but relevant to a moment in time. Ie we needed to quell rioters from smashing up ****, and we've got someone on social media making a reference to hotels and migrants, that I will not repeat. The'e are lots of people I'd prefer to be in prison than her, but I've really no interest in taking up a hobby, defending someone who is married to an MP and really should know better. As for Just Stop Oil, we should have just left them up the bridges and ignored them, sadly in todays molleycoddle world we are not allow to do that, apparently they are risk to people below, well life is a bitch sometimes, leave them there. Was their sentencing harsh, yes, but again like the FB poster, sometimes there is a bigger issue to quell. I think our country would be better served with reeducation centres and home arrest than prison, certainly for the above two examples, but that's just me. Finally back to the RAF damage. What personal sacrifice did they make, I didn't see any, wheel in on sccoters, then sneak back out again under the cover of darkness. You want Gazans fed, sit outside the barrack or parliament and go on hunger strike, the trouble with a lot of people it is what Bywood often calls it, a hobby. I look at it and think where was the personal sacrifice for your cause. I don't like unions or strikers, but at least there is a sacrifice in what they do, they don't get paid, their family could go hungry if they stay on strike long enough. No, but these stupid ****s want to lob paint about the place, I didn't like it when Just Stop Oil did it to buildings, I'm going to like it even less if you do it to our military. There's many ways you can make a protest, but stop taking it up as a hobby and put some personal sacrifice behind it. No going to prison is the punishment, not the sacrifice.
That ain't the real obstacle to peace as you are well aware ... Hamas have said they will return all hostages as part of an end to the war and Israeli withdrawal from Gaza ... it's Benny that's the obstacle to that ...
As you are probably not very aware it’s historically naive to trust Palestinian leaders’ claims of wanting peace. They can return the hostages and surrender if they care about your pets. It’s that simple and that’s been on offer since they had their day out.
The Facebook poster was stupid - you can't incite people to riot and set fire to hotels with people in them just because they are asylum seekers... those that are up in arms about the sentencing would have wanted an even harsher sentence if it had been some Muslim taking to social media to incite people to riot outside Parliament and burn it down whilst Parliament is sitting ... She's fortunate she's not facing manslaughter charges - which she would have been if any of the knobheads she was egging on had actually managed to start a blaze at one of the hotels ...
yeah like the tiny bit of help we give the Israelis make any reaql difference to the amount of munitions that are dropped / fired into Gaza .
I didn’t say he does, but it’s not as much in his interests to continue war as wets in the Shires scoffing at BBC News with a glass of Merlot would have you believe. Hamas feign negotiation in bad faith and any which doesn’t include their surrender only endangers more Israelis.
Agreed. Deporting them to Gaza is fair Yknow cos they care so much like pinkie and Fosse who still ain't booked tickets yet
Firstly, as you know, I don’t care. More relevant though is Netanyahu doesn’t owe them a duty of care when their own leaders choose to neglect them.
James in Cardiff in July mate ... you still hanging on a Spice Girls reunion to get you off that sofa?
Don't wholly disagree - but do find it a bit disappointing that you don't care about the needless deaths of women and children, whatever their nationality or religion ...
I don’t care about people who would be dancing in the streets were their leaders slaughtering me at a music festival, so in this case no.
