    Will Spurs fans go on a protest listening to this news about their beloved club being sponsored by oligarchs? Or do they simply fill their pockets with this oil money..<whistle>

    The OP is correct to post it here. After all, isn't having a strong distaste for our classless neighbours part and parcel of being a Gooner?

    The sanctimonious shadow dwellers have been quite vocal about other teams taking Arab money and it will be interesting to see how they try to square this if the deal is agreed :)

    I think Spurs should be sponsored by the Stoke charity fund for ex spurs players.

    Woodgate, Palacios, Etherington, Crouch .... are there any more ?
