Afternoon all, Does anyone know what time the coach leaves from the stadium next Sunday? Can't seem to find the times on the OS.
Someone that I know thinks it is a stupid idea for this reason: - All these Saints coaches, rolling in together are going to be sitting ducks for Pompey fans to throw objects at. Same on the motorways as well by every bridge, it only takes one idiot to throw something! Worried that Saints fans, families, with kids about; are going to be targets come next Sunday!
Also does anyone know if you can pick up the coach travel on the day or do you need to pick up the travel tickets in the week?
No seriously, sorry Im a new poster! I can definetly confirm I am not a skate! I'm a season ticket holder in block 32. Test me if you want.
It's ridiculous that people use matches like these as an excuse for violence. If you're so hard and up for a fight, join the army and do something to make a difference, rather than pretending to be some hard-man. Personnel in the armed forces did not and do not continue to make huge sacrifices so you can act like an idiot. n.b. By 'you', I'm not referring to anyone on this forum
Alright mate....however, not a good idea to post that info on this open forum. The answers to your questions are on letter attached to coach passes; you really need to contact club soonest to find out when to collect them
I'm picking up my coach travel before the FA youth cup game tomorrow. Looking forward to it. Together as One!
As I'm 18, naturally I have Facebook and a lot of people that I know are Pompey fans my age. Yesterday a lot of their status: 8 Days to we kill the scum/destroy the scrum/beat the scum Pathetic! Not real fans, just young yobs that enjoy the occasional punch up! Disgraceful!
People like that are an embarrassment to the club, as you say they're not real fans. If they want a 'battle', send them to Afghanistan. I bet they wouldn't be so hard if they were caught in a battle with the Taliban. Our armed forces could show them what real bravery is.
Sadly every City / Town / Village has it's idiots . Me & Mrs jasper took her dad to the Festival of the sea in Pompey a few years ago , I bought a red ( Of course ) polo shirt with the emblem on it , when a " Friend " found out I had been to Pompey he didn't speak to me for 2 days !!!!!!!!!!
The British Army's role in Afghanistan is more that of state-building which is vitally important to prevent Afghanistan becoming a failed state like Somalia. Estimated oil reserves in Afghanistan are below that of the UK even. A 1.8 billion barrel oil field was discovered in 2010 and that's on top of the 150 million barrel reserves previously discovered which still puts it below quite a few countries: http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2010-...n-barrel-oilfield-in-north-ministry-says.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_proven_oil_reserves In my opinion it's hardly the same as fighting over something as trivial as football. The armed forces do an important job under difficult circumstances and should be commended.
It's called 'peer pressure' RLGB - pathetic, yes, but a sad part of the growing up process - it's what sorts the men from the boys (and the men from the women). The worst, I believe anyway, have spleens full of vile green bile, which they have to keep venting
If all goes well, we'll be in a different league from Portsmouth next year (not that we aren't already). Nothing must deflect us from that, so no Saints fan should do anything that reflects badly on the team or gets the FL involved.
