    Really hope that it is that level, not doubting that is what you've been told mate. Just that it is a huge step up from our previous deals and others publicised elsewhere in Europe.

    As others have said, 100% profit, and goes on the books immediately. So for example if we sold Patto 10m, that's 10m more we could spend this season. If we signed a 20m player on a 4 year deal, it would be spread over his contract, so cost us 5m per year.

    That would mean this year we'd be 5m up in terms of spend, even though we'd have signed someone for twice as much as the sale.
