Agree. Edwards doesn't seem a very inspiring appointment, pretty much know what you're going to get.I'm surprised Gibson hasn't gone for something a bit more ambitious. They'll very likely be 7th,8th,9th,hovering around, but not actually getting there.
He seems to have gone for someone who can utilise the existing squad … … bringing in someone more adventurous would mean bigger spending. I think they might scrape tye playoffs but it won’t be pretty.
Think he will be regretting his decision and taking his time about our job, looked like he enjoyed wembley and he must've been thinking "what if" too late now boyo
Seems Rohl is at Seagrave, Leicester City’s training ground. The EFL needs to get a grip with these owners, it's madness. Posted bt LD just now ... Mike McGrath @mcgrathmike 'Danny Röhl in talks over #SWFC exit. Players due back today for pre-season training but Röhl not expected to take session. His backroom staff are out of contract this mnth + also uncertainty over training facilities ready.'
The situation at Leicester is bonkers. Haven't sacked van Nistelrooy yet because they only want to show one managerial pay off per season . Will sack him on 1st July.
If I was them I'd be hoping it Rohl or Dyche from the linked names - Probably a left field appointment same as QPR did with their RLB lite
Ridiculous that it took so long, there were rumours of him getting sacked at the end of the season from April onwards
Apparently couldn't pay compensation earlier because of ffp.Had to wait and do it in the next financial year. Says it all about the state of the club!
Intrigued to see how this goes Big test this summer for Brentford, they've had a core team that's done so well for them for years and it's the 1st time it's being broken up while in the PL
Yep. Never seems to miss many games either, for a midfielder. A big miss and smart move by Arsenal. Maybe they'll play him up front!
