I still think he has potential and Serie A could suit him but that's an incredible deal for us at the same time.
A lot of talent but never performed consistently with us. A big what if for me with him. Hope for his sake he does well and can start to realise the talent he has Looking forward to watching Diaz play out wide for us next season
You can say what you like about Sports Republic, but their negotiations on outgoing players has been brilliant during their tenure. We've had years of having our pants pulled down in negotiations on exiting players, but it's nice to see that the worm has turned. Hopefully Spors will get a similar level of success with the incoming transfers now. COYR
Ankersen has had many, many misses when its come to him leading the recruitment, but one thing he is excellent at is getting good fees when we sell a player. I think Solak said Ankersen is mainly in charge of selling players now?
Reading between the lines, I would guess that Dragan told Ankersen “you signed this ****, now get as much as you can for them”.
One down... My favourite memory of last season was being there at Forest for his 1st goal. What a moment.
Good luck, tall Paul! He was a bit mismanaged initially, showed very rare occasional talent, but wasn't consistent. It's the best for all parties involved. No bad blood. Hopefully our next striker can actually score goals on a regular basis!
Getting 20 odd million up front for Sulemana and Tall Paul should put us in a stronger negotiating position for our more attractive assets. I'm still hoping we keep Matty TBH. I would love to see him absolutely destroy the Skates. But if he does end up going at least we'll get upwards of 40mill for him (probably 50).
