'Welcome Joe, why did you want join Bristol City?' Nobody wanted me. 'You played at Southampton so you have experience of winning promotion and then experience of the Premier League' Lumley played 3 times in 2years ! The spin coming from AG is embarrassing.
'No-brainer' - Joe Lumley's first words as Bristol City make goalkeeper second summer signing https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/no-brainer-joe-lumleys-first-10294214 Could be, may be a good shout, personally I'm quite happy the club has made a choice and judgements can be made at a later date, give the guy a chance, he may túrn out( forgive me for being an ol' timer) another Cash, by god you should have heard the moaning and groaning in the bad old days. Good luck , all the best and welcome - Joe Lumley.
It's a terrible choice. All it does is ensure O'leary will be our No1 next season. Lumley has had umpteen clubs but I grant you he talks a good game, he was full of it. Not sure why you mention the flying pig, a keeper who played over 200 games for us. He was one of ours.......a full back turned keeper , not some fly-by-night who's not been wanted by even Bristol bloody Rovers.
I don't know that much about Lumley, as you have stated he has had a lot of experience around the leagues but I notice most appearances have been at Championship level with a little bit of Premier thrown in. He is a far more capable guy to have as a number 2 than our French departee, his personality did show out in his press interview, obviously he wanted to create a good impression, don't blame him, maybe having a competitive, spirited, strong minded number 2 will give Max a kick up the proverbial and after all said and done, he is one of our own. Cash was one of ours but his early days were a concern, he took his chances and was a solid GK for us, no argument and he did play for 'the Gas' for 3 seasons, made 53 appearances for them. The guy has been offered a contract by the dynamic duo, he deserves a chance to prove hinself, if he is crap he will face the inevitable consequences, it's a fresh season, we are bound to see changes, new players and coaches, different direction, I just want to wait and see before making any judgements, everyone deserves an opportunity to prove and play their part. I don't disagree with you but I have to go with what we are offered before I join the handcart to hell.
SO WE START WHERE WE LEFT OFF ....AWAY .................... A GOOD YARDSTICK TO SEE IF ANY PROGRESS OR ANY NON PROGRESS OF sheff utd
I listen to RPs comments and opinions (as I always do), but at the end of the day we will have to see how he performs for us. Leeds fans thought Matt Smith was ****. Derby fans thought Weimann wasn’t up to standard WE thought Bolasie and Ayling were bang average or poor. Let’s hope he comes good for us.

Is Dickie banned for the is, or was it a one game ban from his play-off red card? Might be better he doesn’t play, he had a mare every time against them last season.
