Pork, Stuffing & Apple Sauce, apply the stuffing like butter to both slices of bread, apply a door step of tender pork, thinly spread the apple sauce across the top of the pork and sit back and enjoy.
Ah man where to start. For breakfast its hard to beat sausage, mushroom, black pudding, brown sauce Egg Mayo or cheese savoury for the simple cold non-breakfast sarnie choice. Does a saveloy dip count?
Hot beef with gravy( not dripping like an otters pocket) and horse radish. Ham, cheese and branston pickle. Both with the bread of your choice. White bread, best butter and loads of pickled onion crisps. All to be accompanied by a cup of tea or a glass of milk. Thanks for listening.
I fear this thread could end all hope of resolving the country's obesity crisis. I want one of virtually every one mentioned so far, and I'm sure there are many more to come
Has to be Bacon, egg and mushroom with brown sauce... That said, last time I was in the UK, my daughter made me a fish finger sarnie... Totally life changing. ( tad overstated there) but dear lord, it was delicious
Naughty question, naughty naughty stuff. Salivation. In my mouth. Sweating from the tongue. Bacon, sosij, egg, halloumi, ham, tikka, coleslaw, fish fingers, pease pudding, stuffing, saveloy....the list is endless man. Truly, depending on the day, the best hot sarnie is a sausage and onion with browne sauce or simply a sausage and egg with no sauce. A truly wonderful bacon sarnie is with philadelphia as already stated but also with fried, sliced tomato. I'm gonna be sitting here touching myself like Alan Robson's night owls. Cold sarnies. Recently been introduced to dry chicken tikka with coleslaw from Chester Road, on a seeded bun. Elite. Salmon flakes, red onion and garlic butter is another elite sarnie. A simple ham and pease pudding cannot be scoffed at. Bagels too, toasted with smoked salmon slices and cream cheese. Those new Greggs pitta breaks with the Korean bbq pork are recommended mind.
By the sound of it nobody seems to put fried onions in the bacon and / or sausage sandwiches, obviously with fried egg as well.Rarely put sauce in but if I do it's brown. Edit the Bronze Bummer must have put his entry on while I was typing mine. must type faster
