It remains to be seen how many will actually hold their nerve and vote against it, but I did chuckle when I read that mad lizzie Kendall had called the MP's in to rally the troops and get them onside, and when she'd finished, even more of them signed up to oppose her Bill. As for who replaces him in the unlikely event he loses a no confidence vote, the reckoning is it will be daft Ed in pole position with the MP's, but the Ginger with what's left of the rank and file. Burnham and Streeting are both outside bets. Hardly inspiring is it.
