    Damien Duff has stepped down as the Shelbourne manager. Won the league last season but only in 6th place this season, Shamrock Rovers are romping it this year.

    Champions League ties to play early next month as well for Shelbourne. I wonder if Acun has any regrets?

    Duff is such a spontaneous hothead. Well that is the obstacle that made Acun walk away very quickly. I presume he (Acun) has no interest in going back.

    If you want to see attacking football, sounds like the German under 19s team are worth a watch. 21 goals in their last 2 games. Today v Spain, they lost 6-5. There were 3 goals in added time at the end of the 2nd half and 5 goals in extra time - it was only 2-1 after 90 mins!
    Sounds like the German coach likes a bit of suicide football. Oh hang on, I didn’t look up who he is. It couldn’t be…could it??

    Depending which bit you're questioning, Lyon have been relegated due to finance issues. Liam is lucky because their 6th place finish could be expunged, meaning Strasbourg go up a spot and take the Europa League place.

    Potentially good for Palace too, as the Lyon owner has a large stake in Palace, and that's the reason they'd not be allowed to also compete in the Europa League.
