He seems to be error prone and a little edgey over recent weeks. Is he anxious over his precarious '4 yellows' situation, or perhaps something Less(ter) on his mind?
Hopefully thats just our paranoia but since c*** left he has probably been our worst player. Luckily Hobbs has been superb.
Possibly the interest of Everton and 'other' EPL clubs might of unsettled him? Every player goes through good and bad spells, hopefully he'll come through it in the next game. UTT
centre backs are a pair Hobbs currently on top form as Chester was early on this season, ill worry when both are struggling
was beginning to think nobody else had noticed and only gulasci and dawson ever played bad allegedly, looked shaky every game since pearson left.
Every player goes through bad and good spells, look at the best players in the world and they all go through a bad patch at some point. Maybe the speculation from the top flight has unsettled him a bit but hopefully we'll start to see him producing his best form again soon.
I've been saying this ever since the Derby game but whenever I did I got shot down like a german in a platoon if spitfires. I think he's been rather ****e and making alot of mistakes which is unlike him. But as others have said Hobbs has upped his game and is playing fantastic. I imagine well be after another CB in January so hopefully he'll up his game otherwise let him go to Leicester for 5+ million.
Hes 21 in his first full season as an established 1st team player. He is having a dip in form but its only so noticible because he set such a high standard. I have no doubt he will be back to his best sooner rather than later and dont buy into any of pearson theorys.
I'll put this down to City fans nit picking. His form might have been slightly different, but it hasn't cost us. If this is what it's like after three wins on the trot i'd hate to see what it's like after three defeats . You miserable buggers.
might just be a ploy to put the premier league scouts off.. i dont think hes playing terrible, hes just far from his usual self, couple of coventry lads gave him the old drop the shoulder and left him completely for dead yesterday, earlier in the season hed have had them in is pocket....
He'll always struggle against taller, more nippier strikers though, especially if they're one on one with him. It's his positioning that's important and what makes him a decent centre half.
perhaps we will see his best form when he has some pressure to perform from the bench. its a ruthless world, but maybe he needs a rest, assuming there is someone to step into the void. McShane anyone?
This is his first full season at this level so its a miracle he's been playing so well, you look at the likes of Brady and that is more what you would expect of a player playing his first full-season, a bit in and out, and Evans and Dudgeon the same.
