They’ve been getting attacked for decades so anyone who’s moved out of Palestine ever has moved because they got attacked by default? but in reality they have probably also moved for work etc like many people do in the world.

These particular Israelis only got squeaky bum last 10 days cos they have had nothing like this before…they have defo officially fled their ‘homeland’

I just don't think we got any strong leaders at the moment. Look at Europe we've got Macron, Starmer and Meloni all vying for position of who is the peacemaker, while all completely failing, it's like it as become a competition between them, the recognised stateman or woman. While we've got Trump as head honcho, we are all dooooomed. I was watching the line up of all the leaders today, and Erdogan stood out as the most astute one to me, got a foot in all camps, he seems to manage it without getting embroiled in any spats. I think everyone else right now is a ****ing clown or a warmonger.

That might be because they are citizens of those countries and actually live and work there?

I read yesterday the Chief Rabbi of the UK took one of those flights. Should he have stayed in Israel indefinitely?

I think we have and will see lots of 'firsts for a POTUS' under Trump.

Just seen on the news a Russian warship sailed through the Channel flanked by two oil tankers that are supposed to be in dry dock under sanctions, and no one noticed.

    First Brize Norton, now this.

If anyone decided to invade this country I honestly don't think we'd last more than 5 minutes.

All the sanctions are bollocks, sky news were running another piece on it today, they did one some months back.

All that has changed in regards to sanctions is all the goods are going into Russia indirectly. It's like Iran haven't the financial sector had sanctions on them for decades, they don't seem impoverished by it.

I mean people who have lived in Israel for years and call themselves Israelis not tourists or foreign workers going back.

Its 6th on the list of global producers and 3rd on the list of proven oil reserves. The difference between its production and useage is about 2.2million barrels per day so, unless it is doing some serious stockpiling, its probably more likely to be exporting these, rather than the <1million barrels it claims. They will be getting a low price for them, as purchases are officially sanctioned, but they are probably taking weapons etc in exchange, from North Korea, China and India.

Sitting on over 100years of reserves, based on current production, the area occupied by Iran will become increasingly more relevant, as global reserves start to dwindle. Best way to make it irrelevant would be to move away from fossil fuels, but as countries like the US, UK and EU, slow down the energy transition, they are actually increasing the importance of Iran, at least over the next 20-30years.

78,000 Israeli citizens returned to Israel while the Iran beef was still in full swing.

Doesn't strike me as particularly cowardly.

Doesn’t scream mass exodus even if they just about filled a coach to leave from the thousands of Brits living there.
