On the first day of pre-season training I'm happy that we've finally brought someone in as our squad is looking rather threadbare. He should be a good addition on the left side - he's young but has played over 180 games at L2 and L1 level.

Rovers, Lincoln and Wigan have tabled offers to Macauley Southam-Hales after his departure from Stockport County, Southam-Hales who plays as a Right sided defender wing back or winger

He joined Stockport from Fleetwood Town is leaving on a free at the end of his contract

 

He’s 29 but has only played 160 professional games - seems a bit injury prone. Surprised he’s got Lincoln and Wigan after him, to be honest.

 

I reckon 1 will be announced each day now this week.

Alfie Kilgour has resigned on a free transfer for the Rovers after being released by Mansfield, Bolton Wanderers keeper Luke Southwood is also reported to be on his way to the Rovers

 

Probably a good move all round. Getting in a bit obviously.

3 new staff members joined today, Gavin Crowe Head of Medical and Performance, Sam Pashen as Lead strength and conditioning coach and Kyler burns as Lead sports Scientist,

Gavin Crowe is from Cheltenham, Sam Pashen has previously worked with Cardiff City and Bristol City in strength and conditioning roles as well as time spent with Cardiff Metropolitan University and Bath College and Kyler Burns is also from Cheltenham having previously worked with Swindon and Dundee Utd. in their Sports Science Departments.
