It would be nice if voters would give their honest opinions, rather than their wum opinion. This poll is intended to take an honest account of what Chelsea supporters genuinely believe.
By the way, option 3 should read "£50 million+" I trust that would be obvious to most voters, as there doesn't seem to be any way for me to edit my own poll.
Think this interview yesterday puts a end to it as it appears we won't be going for cahill, modric or pereira http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/7370518/
I think it goes without saying that you definitely won't get Moddy in January, so what would be the point in even making an approach for him? Even if you offered us £100 million, there's no way Levy would part with him, as it would say that the club is more interested in making easy money than it is in make any attempt at finishing inside the top 4 this season.
Disagree, we've needed a creative fella in midfield for the last season or so, hopefully McEachran is our answer to that rather than blowing £40m on Modric.
Agreed. I'm so tired of this discussion and all the rumor-mongering. Also agreed. There are times when our midfield looks like it could use some creative spark to help break down opposing defenses.
I think someone else posted on this subject recently and said that 'Levy would sell his own grandmother for the right price'. In business everything has a price but personally I think Josh will grow to be a much better prospect.
I just think we are all bored of talking about it. My reading of the situation over the summer is that most Spurs fans were more bothered about losing him then Chelsea fans were about getting him. Fine player but I think we felt he was over-priced and there were other options out there. The club disagreed but Levy held firm and we move on.
Agreed but we've NEEDED one recently. Before we would play the Mourinho way, defend well and score goals, under AVB I think one is a must have.
