Plans submitted for the Portland Hotel to be turned into a HMO. Last week the council said there were too many HMO's in Hull, this application should be given the nod. https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/new...news/application-mammoth-122-bed-hmo-10287502
Bad fire in Manchester city centre last night, apparently the owner couldn't get permission to demolish if for redevelopment and nobody believes it was an accident... please log in to view this image
I wonder what on earth it will be used for? Have to clear the hotels somehow I guess. But what's the point? Gaslighting.
So leave it empty another decade, and more, to fall apart some more. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Apart from something that just came into your head, your evidence is? The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Lucrative investment, someone's lining their pockets.? There are a few derelict buildings in Glasgow at the moment but it seems to be earmarked for student accommodation, there's a huge market for that in the City Centre.
made as cheaply as possible benefitting the developer while causing even more anti social behaviour etc look at the room, the kitchen is 1 foot away from the bed
No it isn't, leave it as it is then, bits falling off, footpath closed now and again for falling brickwork, cafe next door closed due to flooding from this building, and an arsonist waiting their turn. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
If you're eyes are telling you that's 1 foot get to Specsavers. Oh, and get in touch with the developer and tell them they're selling themselves short, plans revealed for student flats in 2013 were for four more rooms The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Another nail in the coffin for Hull City centre should that go ahead. It’s just what the place needs, 120 odd meffs plonked slap, bang in the middle of town. Unbelievable.
So no actual evidence, I'll watch, I could be wrong, as could you. As for those against it, they're the types that continually tell us Hull is years behind other cities as nothing ever gets built here. Better to go ahead with what's planned than leave it to decay even more. Of course the council should approve one of the other schemes put forward from the queue of developers eager to step in, oh...
