Nice spin, but not at all. People are free to protest. No problem with that. They are also free not to protest and I choose the latter freedom to decide no to I do plenty of sit down protests in my living room. I like to feel better about giving my support

Proscribing them will have very little effect. They slipped away into the night, they will just call themselves [email protected] or summut and get a new twitter page. The establishment will bundle them in with formal top-down terror networks - with various hierarchical levels, supply chains, money laundering etc ... but hopefully, more pressingly, the government will sort out the disgraceful security at Brize Norton which the group formerly known as Palestinian Action exposed.
Fair to say that if someone knocks on my door offering a placard that says "Leave the EU" but has a BNP or EDL logo on it. I would politely refuse............ ..........which is what all those people waving SWP or any of their fronts like UAF or SUTR should have done! Even Owen Jones will not protest alongside them and he's a protest addict..........although I guess it might be more because their aim like his is more to do with gaining followers and selling books for mucho moolah.......than any of the just causes either of them have decided is flavour of the week! Obviously memories are very short and/or the same people that complain about the "low information" thickos that vote this way or that do not practice the same things they preach when they are handed a placard to wave that is actually more to do with promotion of SWP and its fronts than the actual protest they are at. The SWP will turn on the very people they are protesting with if anyone says anything.
???? If you don't think so then you need to research the episode further and realise why back then so many people left the SWP including 90% of students! It was much more than about 1 member. It was to do with their internal hierarchy and how they deal/dealt with these things and yes, covering it up!! And yes they are in every protest going, often to the disappointment of those that organise protests because they make the protests about SWP and not the cause! As well as often adding a violent element to the protests that spoil things for those that were there to make their statement peacefully.
I think you are guilty of making the SWP into something much bigger than it is. It is a nice boogie man for the right… with one whole massive scandal in 2013 you can shake your little fist at. Far more rape scandals - and more recent - and far bigger cultures of cover ups within the Tort party. But there you go. There are a grand total of 6000 members in the SWP. My neighbour is one of them. A thoroughly nice man, very focused on workers rights and promoting socialist issues.
These people support Free Palestine. I promise you, and would bet my life savings, 9/10 have no idea what the SWP is

Mate, I am just judging the people by the signs they are holding up in your pictures. I think you are getting confused by your own evidence?
I might not be putting my point across well, what I'm pointing out is people tend not to hold signs for political parties that they disagree with. Those holding SWP/BNP signs are doing so because that's their jam. It's who and what they believe in. I genuinely believe that they're extremists
Am I going crazy? The signs in your pictures say Free Palestine. Do they also day SWP? If they do, the pics are so small I cannot see it. But also, if I make a thousand signs for something people want to protest about, are people going to research my organisation that no normal people know about to check what they are promoting? These are not SWP supporters. They are Pro Palestine supporters - who I think you are accusing of holding SWP sponsored signage?
Yeah the half black half red signs are all SWP signs. As are most of the signs at any given demo, from BLM to "kill the bill" protests. That's why I was showing the BNP signs from their protest, do you think those people weren't aware who the BNP are?
Everyone knows the BNP. Nobody knows or cares about the SWP. You think all those Muslims in your image are dedicated to socialist ideals? Or is it more likely they took the signs to support Gaza?
