Depends whether Cerny stays fit, we're a bunch of crocks in that position. Rumour that Lewis is to be signed in January...
QPR , I like that, at last a bit of humor on this board! And yes, a great film , never see the like again due to PC !!
Absolutely not. Its a specialist position and when given the chance and performing well you should stay there. Cerny's been great even though I thought he was sh*t. Careful Jimmy. Norths in bad humour these days
It also cheered me up that I do not live there!! Never seen so many boarded up houses, shops and offices. Makes the Bush look like Beverley Hills!!
Something positive from the Liverpool game is the realisation i) that I don't live in Liverpool and won't have to go back until at least August and ii) that 99% of people standing around me have been to plenty of games before and aren't there on a day trip like it's Maddame Tussauds.
FFS guys not that long ago people were looking for cernys head particularly towards the end of last year. I'm sure Cerny is a decent bloke but he is way past his sell by date. I hope he continues to do a job for us while the other two keepers are injured but as soon as either of them are ready they should go straight back into the first team. If Cerny was to have a stinker next weekend then some people would be looking for his head quickly again. He is a stop gap keeper who is earning his money. Nothing more nothing less. Simple as. He should be sold in Jan if we are looking at another keeper. Also, Paul Robinson will not come to us to sit on the bench. If we sign him, IMO that means the end of Paddy. Thoughts !!
i think if cerny keeps playing the way he has, he should keep paddy out. i dont think paddy has had that great of a season.
It’s Raddy versus Paddy THE BIG Raddy v Paddy debate will occupy Neil Warnock's thoughts as his team turn their attention to Manchester United. Paddy Kenny is expected to be given the all-clear today to return from a muscle strain. But with Brian Murphy also sidelined, third-choice stopper Radek Cerny has seized his chance with a hat-trick of outstanding performances. Hoops boss Warnock said: "Paddy's very close. He's our first choice but Raddy has been marvellous — it's not going to be an easy choice for me to make." iReader http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...tml?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed
Paddy for me all day long. Doesnt make many mistakes, very dependable and reliable. Raddy is so unpredictable
You can't drop a keeper who's playing out of his skin; it's an unwritten rule. Paddy is just going to have to bide his time and wait for an opportunity. As has been said, he's not been at his best this season and we have to be completely unemotional about this. He will get his chance again but he should be on the bench for now.
I don't think Cerny will keep a fit Paddy out (providing he hasn't been comfort eating- we all know Paddy has a tendency to to Ricky Hatton), I just started this thread cos it was great to see a player actually step up web called upon. Buzz and co take note.
