A record number of students get the A Level grades they need to get into Uni Good luck to them, youngsters setting out. Didn't go to Uni myself (wanted to earn some money after 6th form college) but all the best to them. Proper students that is, not those studying Pop stars or computer games
My daughter gained a Merit for her first year, which has pleased us immensely. I left school without a single GCSE. I think nowadays they would give me a label such as ADHD or something along those lines. Any knowledge accrued, which may not be much admittedly, has been achieved on a purely autodidactic level. I'm pretty good with capital cities and multiplication.
