I love cinder toffee, that and candyfloss are part of my childhood memories of Roker and Seaburn as a kid during the summer holidays. Running into the water at Roker beach and freezing my nads off :emoticon-0116-evilg, but getting toweled off then going to the amusements for some chips and ket later. Always cinder toffee or candyfloss, occasionally a toffee or chocolate apple... Feeling like a millionaire if you got a good drop on the twopenny drop game..

****. I've turned into my dad!

I remember some candy skeletons as a kid, candy shaped bones and skulls which came in small plastic coffins. Does anyone remember them and what they were called?

They looked like this and you swapped them with your mates to get a full set.
A set now worth around £33,000

This thread has just cost me £6.20.

    Treacle Toffee.
    Brazil nut toffee.
    Pineapple chunks.
    Aniseed twists.

Then I saw a slab of chocolate toffee as I thought I was done.

Edit - lemon bon bons too

Have you tried reading @FellTop's posts when single malts are involved? :emoticon-0103-cool:

Do love a single malt though, but cant have any....for now.
Most of the ones I had it gave away to lads on here, just to take away temptation.
Kept two back which were gifts, with the intention of having one for a special occasion, like celebrating my first Grandchild!
Held strong though, but i reckon I'll be having one before the year is out. <cheers>
