We've planned a trip to drive to France in a few weeks to go cheese shopping... Might sample a few vino into the bargain and have a casual saunter back the next day.
Marnin’ I picked this up a couple of days ago. It was a bargain, although it was a 665 mile round trip to go and get it … probably best described as an all terrain ebike rather than a mountain bike. It handles the rough stuff impeccably well and it is a lot of fun. manufacturer claims a range of 60 miles, but I reckon that’s ambitious if you’re using it to climb any proper hills and going over rocky terrain. My plan is to load it up with my bike packing gear and take it off for 2-3 days to see how it copes. I’ll take the charger with me and see if I can find somewhere to charge it up if I need to, because there’s no way you’re pedalling this lump if the battery dies and you’re stuck out on some bleak moorland lol
Sat on a balcony in Milford Haven marina having a pint of Cruzcampo. Got that 15mph scirocco type wind going on, all very nice. My work for the week is done, **** it.
I didn't realise until this week that you can eat kiwi skin, never thought about it before. I bought some ready ripe kiwi's and apparently you boost your fibre intake by 50% if you eat the skin. Although I tried it and it's not appealing. although I suppose if you scrubbed them first it wouid get rid of the furry skin.
Absolutely roasting. The beach is going to be full of slags from Croydon down for the day pissed on Aperol. This is finally what we voted for.
Alisha will get completely rat arsed, crash out on the beach for the arvo and only discover all of the shingle in her knickers on the Thameslink back to London
There’s a guy walking down the high street in a puffer jacket and the sort of hat you’d wear climbing Everest.
Can't believe anyone likes that stuff, it's disgusting, on par with limoncello and ozo - the latter being more tolerable if you knock it back quick enough.
