I've watched he 34minutes of GS's introduction alongside JL. Totally stage managed. The City guy introducing and asking 'supporters' questions was embarrassing in the extreme, so bloody amateurish. Tinnion, unsurprisingly, was rarely mentioned. Anyway, we are where we are in the most unfair league in the world. Enough bullshit, GS has an impossible task. But I wish him the very best of luck.
I share your views on LJ Supcon - he did ok IMHO, so it’s only fair that I balance that with my view on NP. I thought Nige did ok too - not brilliantly but ok. He had an inflated squad (reasons for this will be debated until the cows come home) and there were definitely financial constraints on him - again we can debate forever on who exactly controls the purse strings and oversees incoming and outgoing players. Under NP we gained the unwelcome reputation for shipping late goals and I certainly didn’t find his style of football attractive. I thought he should have gone after the WBA defeat, but SL stuck by him and fair play he turned it around. He ‘steadied the ship’ and for that I’m grateful to him. The timing of his sacking was very harsh. If they had sacked him after the West Brom defeat I would have understood but to do it when they did was unwarranted - unless there were other factors in play - I know he wasn’t in the best of health. NP did ok under the circumstances IMHO. Not brilliant but ok. Thanks Nige.
I’d have thought you’d be happy, doesn’t he like to play with 2 up front, that’s right up your alley.

then should knight go then it is what it is,really should be a nice little earner so long its with the new governors approval, you can never see us making marquee signings more cub tent, but so long as they gel into a team i can live with that,
We need to add numbers to the squad, if we get a good price from a PL club, so be it. We can’t stand in his way anyway, and we get cash to buy more players in.
'Tough and consistent' - the Plymouth verdict on Bristol City new boy Adam Randell https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/tough-consistent-plymouth-verdict-bristol-10282855
so how much does posters on here believe Adam Randell has set us back? my + / - £500k amount would be £4,000,000
Not an impressive signing I think but what the hell as long as he didn't cost over the odds like last summer with Mayulu, Armstrong and Twine where we wasted a huge chunk of money that should have been put to better use. We move on and see what, if any, attempts we can make to improve the squad and who needs to go asap? I didn't see the interview but by all reports it was staged managed by Trump's choreographer because questions were diverted to whoever was going to create he least fuss with their dialogue. How many times did Gerhard nod his head to comments made by Lansdown or Tinnion because that's a good sign of a "yes man" and we don't need that again.
