Someone else may have, but I didnt. I think most of us accept that we wont be promoted and most of us would be happy with top 10, or even mid table.
Having seen the highlights, all 10 seconds of them. The penalty decisions were right, both of them! But the point stands that the incident happened after 94 mins when the game should have ended a minute before. But i said a point would be good before the match so a point is good. We have only lost 1 in 8 now, not to shabby i think.
If thats the case what warranted the extra minute?? The subs were made before the 80th min so would have been included in the 3. There werent any stopages after the 90, so why did the ref suddenly think that 2 mins extra were needed. He looked at his watch and saw that the 3 were up yet played on.
Well the stupidity of the Leeds supporters has cheered me upthis morning. Living in the past believing that a monikor on a forum indicates nationality, proud scottish is in fact Scottish whereas Aberdeen couldn't be more English and I strongly object to England being referred to as the weakest home nation, even yorkshire morons should realise England is the best footballing nation in the world (oops there I go being sarcastic, being lowest form of wit it still appears to be beyond our friends). A worry for our great nation must be the calibre of the students of today who appear to not have a clue when it comes to reading when folk are being ironic, when folk couldn't give a diddly squat about the "history" of these "great" clubs, and do not realise that the championship is as tight as a witches snitch and nobody has the right to expect to win any game as on their day every club is capable of beating every other is sadly deluded. Sadly when I was a kid about 8 years old I wanted to be peter lorimer and I supported Leeds at the time not at the ground and I'm glad to say I grew out of my childish delusion.
The reason so many WFC fans hate Mackay is because he had just signed a contract extension before he pissed off, and when he went he tapped up 90% of our back room staff and all our potential signings. He was very disrespectful and has not thanked watford once for his first post as manager and for his last playing.
But he was not a **** about it. We all accept that managers come and go, but it was just disrespectful. Imagine if Grayson left you to go to Middlesborough and took all your back room staff and all you potential players so you had to get all new staff and find new players on a short notice and small budget and never even said thank you for giving him his break in management. You might be a little narked by it.
a well earned point?? i think not! You didn't exactly get our goal keeper working today, he himself stated that it was the quietest he's been all season. You needed the ref to extend extra time to get a penalty. Gift of a point when you know you shouldn't have had any. Congrats. You earned that point well As Dan pointed out, our boys have not 'raised their game' because we were against 'big boys'. That's how we play. We told you that before the match, you didn't believe us. I think we know better than you how our team play. However, when we played bigger teams before we were a squad with 11 new players and it took time to find the right combos and to gel. Now, we play good football with a team that others are still under estimating. However, i'm sure when we come to Elland Road, you may have learned a few things and not take winning for granted. You'd do well to remember that, coz we'll take advantage if you don't. Quite right Er...no. Nothing like. MM was a Manager who had won the fans loyalty and trust, and he trampled on all of that, and the club. Aberdeen was a kid when he saw the light and stopped supporting Leeds...as kids do, he changed his alliance. It happens. Hardly a comparison. I'd like to think i'm done with this thread lol...time to move on...no team is big enough to ponder all week over! Blackpool here we come
