Would be a good move for both. A promotion chasing side in the championship. Do well there and then they will have lots of options afterwards, either at Spurs or elsewhere
Counter point: it's Sheffield United Also has to be said that their new manager doesn't inspire confidence in them sustaining a promotion push
Fab Romano reports that the Mansourites are trying to poach striker Dexter Oliver from our U17s I'm sure it's a coincidence that he rejected the two year scholarship we offered him...
The only way to have an edge in recruitment is to have some technology that no others have or to use brute force...ie throw money at it. This has always been true. Wealthy clubs had more scouts and they watched more games.
Man Utd are wealthy and have used brute force. Their recruitment has been awful. You need the right people as well as technology. AI can’t do it all
It definitely helps but Liverpool probably aren’t top 4 for spending yet have won multiple titles and a champions league since 2019
Ally Gold says KWP may become a target later in the window, KWP interested in returning too. It makes a lot of sense to me, proven himself in the Prem, can play both flanks like Spence, free and takes up a free CG spot too.
We need another fullback and he'd take up an otherwise empty slot. Should give Gray more time in the midfield, too.
A sensible transfer in its most literal sense, given it gives us a reliable player as a depth option who also takes up a free spot in the squad As opposed to the current definition of sensible transfer, which seems to be somebody with 4-6 years on their contract...
Modric. On the same terms I wanted for Perisic, and for re-signing Bale. Perhaps throw getting coaching accreditation in there (starting with the current senior squad) .
