The world has been very quick to forget and/or ignore that Jordan at any point from 1948 to 1967 could have established an independent Palestinian state in a far larger piece of the West Bank than what exists today - with almost all of Jerusalem as its capital. Jordan didn't do this because it didn't want an independent Palestinian state. In fact, Jordan only recognised the Palestinians' right to self-determination in 1988.

Does Iran not oppress people, what about Christians are they openly welcomed in Iran, what about that persecution, what about their brothers, what about the wide spread discrimination. Are they not attacking womens rights and Christianity in the wider community. Is Iran carrying out ethnic cleansing, much like Syria?

Wouldn't that litmus test have more resonance with any Israeli regime complaints about a hospital having been targeted? For me it's a no brainer - any deliberate targeting of hospitals is wholly abhorrent, completely unacceptable and inexcusable ... absolutely no exceptions.
