It’s proportionate to what they did, to me. I appreciate that won’t be a widely held view but I’m exceptionally bitter about the whole thing and wouldn’t lose any sleep over the lot of them being driven into the sea so might not be the best gauge of proportionality, admittedly.

I am curious to what everyone means when they say the West. Because the the West on here could refer to everyone of us. Or the West could refer to certain governments. I sometimes wonder if it's even used as a slur on Christianity You often see the words Muslim or Jews, but rarely Christian, maybe the 'West' replaced it. We are all the West, everyone of us, but we are not responsible for what our governments did, nor should we pay for the price of rogue states. I've often spoke of my distain against America, well before the 7th Oct, but now it's like it's being weaponised to justify the attacking of Jews or allowing Iran to continue in it's wayward ways. I am truly astonished at the defence of Iran considering what it's done for more than a decade, far outweighs anything the IDF have done, to bring such hatred. Sometimes on here I feel as though Christianity is looked down on, frowned upon because we don't go to church or pray. It's not said directly but nor is attacks on Jews and Muslims majority of times. Just my morning thoughts reading back on this thread. America are arseholes, Iran are arseholes, we don't have capability to deal with the former, but we do the latter. It's as I've said before, it feels like having to do a deal with the devil to stay safe but I can't change that, but we can change Irans behaviour, especially towards Jews, but I feel that certain people don't want to, such is their hate.
It’s not about anything done to me. It’s what they’ve done to Israel and Israelis. But when you come for Israel you do to a small extent come for all Jews. Even the small minority insistent on cucking for Hamas throughout.
I'd like to think so, but even then, who are we actually pointing the finger at, us as in all of us on here...we did nothing. Thinking about it, West is a lazy word, makes life easier, but it also makes it easier to hide other references/connotations. So is every single person on here blaming themselves Just curious really.

I think the West refers to the Western powers and their governments, but more realistically is referring to the military and various intelligence agencies that pull strings I think many when they say "the west" have a very specific image in mind that depends on their specific history. For example imagine some in Europe would include Germany, whilst some might not.

Have you ever considered that when Israel oppress and then attack Palestinians, that the rest of the Arab Muslim world consider it an attack on the wider community ? Could this be why Iran, Qatar have enabled Hamas (along with Bibi for other reasons) and hezbollah ? Because they see their brothers being persecuted, land stolen and ethnically cleansed by Israel ?

Germany is an odd one for me, because I tend to find generally they keep themselves to themselves, even over Ukraine a fuss was kicked up over the lack of real weaponary supplied by them. And I certainly don't blame modern Germany today for the past, although they need to keep a careful eye on the far right, and seem to do so. My mother always seemed to care about the Jews and that obviously rubbed off on me. My Nan was a very religious Christian , so much so I had to endear one of her books as a gift, but to be fair is was a good book for a child, without throwing the bible at you. My mum would send me to Sunday school, but I strongly suspect that was get me off her hands, although she was insistent I went ot as CofE. Contrary to all that, my dad ****ing hated Germans, which was a bit awkward because one of my best friends was German, so it educated me in so many ways. I will admit to be a tad shocked when I came to this forum in what I saw as anti Jew sentiment, and I didn't understand what it was about and probably still don't to be truthful.
