Just for some context, last summer our first signing was 1st July and was the sub bloody keeper. Second signing wasn’t until 11th July and third wasn’t until 24th July. And that season started a week earlier than this one. Granted it was a window needing less signings tho So whilst we want urgency we have to trust it will fall into place.
Yeah but he was a one for later. We don’t really have the luxury this time round. I want to stress I’m not bedwetting I was purely just trying to state I hope we see stuff soon and get the business done for game 1
mind if we get to 10th July and we still haven’t signed an outfield player like last season, then you might see me bed wetting
You’re a decent poster mate but you don’t need to torture yourself like this every window. Keep the faith we are fairly shrewd operators in the market now.
Don’t think we’re slow I think we’re very big on the deal being right. We won’t overpay and we won’t have the piss taken out of us. That’s what happened in January
I've never understood 'concerns' based on vague predictions ... ... it's no different to saying how delighted you are about unknown players we might be signing.
#Calciomercato | #Lecce , advanced interest of #Leeds for #Krstovic . It remains to understand the will of the attacker @SkySport
A few of our linked targets are playing in u21 euros and then there is club world cup and some are simply just still on holiday. Be a couple weeks yet before things start to rock and roll
We were always going to be playing top teams in a tough league and kicking off at that date. We need players. The fixtures change nothing. No need to panic. Be cool like Regis.
Couldn't agree more mate, so many of our players who managed to get promoted were written off at the end of the season before last and the beginning of last season. A lot of negative comments and frustrations which were obviously raw at the time were posted and were not well thought out or formed. Patience was needed then and patience is needed now. Players who were not even considered as first team regulars at the start of the season ended up getting us promoted because the club allowed them to grow, gain experience, and flourish. (Mayenda and Watson). We don't know who will step up this season and what quality of players we are looking at but I am willing to let this team do their work and see where we end up.
