A little birdie has told me he has agreed to come here as Regis new assistant coach. Regis was impressed with his tactical substitutions at Wembley apparently...

They ended up with 90, but he always added the 2 on.

    Bellend. Wilder, not you <cheers>.

That's a good job for Selles, I'd like to see him do well there. I've got a feeling he's potentially a really good coach but he's made some poor decisions on some of the roles he's taken.

:emoticon-0140-rofl: Kieffer Moore coming in as well, Speakman said he had never seen such a great assist. Perfect weight of pass.

I'm unbelievably high on Selles. The job he did at Reading is arguably one of the best i've seen in the EFL in the last decade.

That's now Rosenior and Selles that have been sacked by Hull and have fallen upwards, not a good sign that they are operating correctly.

Brereton Diaz signing to be a tackle practice dummy for Hume would be canny as well. :emoticon-0136-giggl

What's baffling is that Sheff Utd and Coventry fans don't get what happened, as if they're suffering from PTSD.

They keep claiming they were the better teams but Sunderland were clearly better at not giving the ball away and costing goals.

That's part of the game just as much as the keeper stopping shots or the defence blocking them.

We were the better team at those things, simple as that.

The owner is a fruitcake. Not as bad as Chansiri at Wednesday, but Hull will do nothing while he's there.

Quite a bonus to think it was Sunderland who got Wilder sacked <party>

I really like him and agree he’s potentially a really good coach. I’m not sure it’s such a great job for him though. The pressure will be on to be challenging for automatic promotion so if he doesn’t start quick he’ll be under pressure. He couldn’t turn it down but I’m not sure it’s a great fit. I think somewhere like Bristol City would have been ideal. Young, talented squad he could could but a bit less pressure.

I think Selles may struggle personally not that he isnt a good manager like others have said the pressure will be right on and the league is shaping up to be really competitive this year

Is the squad too moulded to Wilders system currently - Probably

Minimum he will need to get is 90+2 points

Might do nothing when he's eventually not there, viva the joys of following your home city club. Forty seven years and counting, hey ho. :emoticon-0138-think

It’s funny how things go round, in football, and it’s never wise to crow too loudly. There was a time, quite recently, when we had Hull posters on here who’d created a rivalry with Sunderland … something that happens quite often with us, Coventry, Wigan, Portsmouth, etc.

Hull fans would come on telling us where we were going wrong, how they were debt free, how they were forging ahead, etc. I've no idea what happens next, with Hull, but the whole situation looks bleak tbh.

He had low expectations at Reading though due to the mess they were in. It’s similar to Rooney at Derby.

I know Wilder is a bellend, but I really don’t see Selles as a step up from Wilder. He’s more likely a step down imo.

He might prove me wrong mind.
