A little birdie has told me he has agreed to come here as Regis new assistant coach. Regis was impressed with his tactical substitutions at Wembley apparently...
That's a good job for Selles, I'd like to see him do well there. I've got a feeling he's potentially a really good coach but he's made some poor decisions on some of the roles he's taken.
Kieffer Moore coming in as well, Speakman said he had never seen such a great assist. Perfect weight of pass.
I'm unbelievably high on Selles. The job he did at Reading is arguably one of the best i've seen in the EFL in the last decade. That's now Rosenior and Selles that have been sacked by Hull and have fallen upwards, not a good sign that they are operating correctly.
What's baffling is that Sheff Utd and Coventry fans don't get what happened, as if they're suffering from PTSD. They keep claiming they were the better teams but Sunderland were clearly better at not giving the ball away and costing goals. That's part of the game just as much as the keeper stopping shots or the defence blocking them. We were the better team at those things, simple as that.
The owner is a fruitcake. Not as bad as Chansiri at Wednesday, but Hull will do nothing while he's there.
I really like him and agree he’s potentially a really good coach. I’m not sure it’s such a great job for him though. The pressure will be on to be challenging for automatic promotion so if he doesn’t start quick he’ll be under pressure. He couldn’t turn it down but I’m not sure it’s a great fit. I think somewhere like Bristol City would have been ideal. Young, talented squad he could could but a bit less pressure.
I think Selles may struggle personally not that he isnt a good manager like others have said the pressure will be right on and the league is shaping up to be really competitive this year Is the squad too moulded to Wilders system currently - Probably Minimum he will need to get is 90+2 points
