I thought he was dreadful at first. Once he got fit and adjusted I had to eat my words. We will now never know what he could have been like for us with anything like even half decent service. Good luck to him
Bang average for me.He gave his best, fair play to him but his legs have seen better days and surely we need better to show any kind of progress...
He may have been bang average but we invested serious money into and he’s got a lot of his contract left. Not to mention like others have mentioned we’ve constantly rotated the frontline and it’s suffered a result. He’s young and can improve. We can’t keep writing players off after a less than desirable year. If we had Delap a year prior everyone hear would’ve called him crap
He never did anything for me after the Bristol game. That’s was after a slow start too. I was expecting him to be someone dependable who has seen it/done it to help us pull clear around that time. He was awful. I’m not unhappy to see him go. Geldahrt was another who I thought we could rely on towards the end.He seemed to lose his confidence in front of goal when most needed, though would love to see him back, which looks increasingly unlikely. Others have said it, but do wonder if anything happened internally around the international break.
