The fixture list shown on RTG looks pretty good. Obviously all games will be tough but we have a chance of a decent start if we perform.

If those fixtures are correct we've got a class start but a ****ing horrendous December

 

Was hoping we’d get them slap bang in the middle of a run of Champions League games, with those dates it’s less likely.

Edit: I don’t know what I’m talking about.

 

First 8 games could end up being crucial, as good a chance we could of hoped to try and build some solid foundations. The run in is tough too

If they fixtures are right they play in champions league midweek before us at our place

First three are before the closure of the transfer window.

Going to be tough for the club balancing getting players in early against getting the very best options/value available which is often not apparent until the end of the window.

 

Oh good. I forgot there’s now a thousand group games so they play right up to the European winter break. Used to be a break in Dec/Jan didn’t there before last season?

 

Isn’t the busy Christmas period when a few surprise results get thrown up? I don’t know if that’s statistically backed up but I feel like top teams often drop points during the ‘busy’ schedule.
Could be a good time to play them all..

 

Great chance of early points

 

I think its really important we have the bulk of our deals done pre August as tough as that is. Need to give ourselves the best chance of a good start and having lads settled in and a decent pre season with RLB will help.

Do know there are normally deals come up later in the window but think we need to get those more key signings done as early as possible. Tough job.

 

Incredibly tough, I personally think getting players in very early will often mean paying over the odds or compromising on the quality of our targets.
