Well I am just sick of people saying "You spent over a billion, why do you need more players?" simply, its because they spent a lot of money on **** in recent years, and not just Clearlake, even at the end of the Roman era they were spending big money on players who didnt cut the mustard.
And even the players who turned out to be good, eventually, like Cucurella and Caicedo, they grossly overpaid for them.
Ok Caicedo is a very good player now, but for £105m, I am expecting Zidane levels here.
Thats why I dont go in so hard on players like Nicolas Jackson for example, yeah he doesnt set the world on fire, but we paid £35m for him, and he delivers exactly what I expect a £35m striker to deliver. He can do a decent job, but he aint getting nominated for no Ballon D'ors.
But players like Kepa for example, £72m, for a goalkeeper, who now sits on Arsenals bench as a No. 2 for £5m.....thats bad business.
Mudryk, another £75m for a player who is total dogshit. I mean whatever ****ing "performance enhancing" drugs he was taking clearly werent ****ing working.
If that is him on performance enhancing drugs, then what the **** is he like without them?
Never mind the the football league punishing him, he should be taking his dealer to court for false advertising.

Getting better though, by the look of it, thank christ, but that means more spending and more importantly, sensible spending.
Liverpool seem to agree, having, on the back of their PL victory, broken their transfer record fee for Wirtz. Hopefully for you guys he will be worth it (I think he will, for the record).

That’s some Matt H logic right there
Well done you have finally got me back in - though I won’t be staying as have covered this enough but
The reason they will try to throw the book at you is simply because you have made them look foolish on 3 occasions (I think - i have actually lost count the times your club have cheated)
I don’t agree it should be cheating I think you should be allowed to do whatever the **** you want as a club but you can’t and there were rules and your club have broken those rules then got away with it on technicalities.

you have pissed them off so if they throw the book at you and you don’t wriggle out of it, it will be for being a bunch of clever arsed slimy slippery bunch of SOB’s that have finally got an ounce of their comeuppance for cheating the system for so long and depriving other well run clubs their chance of success who have followed the rules.

not because of some flat earth level type conspiracy theory that you have cooked up to make your little club ( your words not mine ) look like they have done good <cheers>

Didnt his son and daughter in law visit Portsmouth a couple weeks back?
Did the locals do something to upset Don Jr and now daddy is hitting back?
