Daily war crimes now. Deliberate slaughter of civilians queuing for food.

about as sick as it gets.

Iran wasn't really the point ... Draft Dodging Donny was denying any US involvement when Israel launched its attack... now it's all 'we' ... and him demanding an 'unconditional surrender'... blokes a complete prick...

Might take some level heads from Macron, Starmer and Carney to rein in the nutters Trump and Netanyahu

He may be a complete prick, but as I've said previously Iran needed dealing with. I know full well if this had been Biden dealing with Iran he would have been painted as some hero for dealing with a vile state regime. I'm pleased we finally dealt with them, I'm pleased we sent some sort of message by taking out numerous leaders. Not thousands but hundreds of thousands impacted by the past actions of Iran, we must ensure they never have any capability whatsoever to create nuclear weapons. As I've said myself, not said by world leaders, do the future a favour and deal with Iran NOW.

Love it how brb has started referring to Israel as 'we'.

It should never have been a task just left to Israel tbph. I suppose it's like everything, fate decides the moment. I think as things stand the opportunity is now, but to put that all on Israel would be a distortion of true feeling, particularly on my part. I will not hide, I will be upfront, they need dealing with, we are where we are today, due to a lot of Iran's past actions, their regime will not be missed, the only argument remains is what replaces it...hopefully something that has it's capabilities kept in check, not something they can withdraw from but something they are made to adhere to. Their past choices have brought us where we are today. I'm a bit of madman like Trump when it comes to this stuff, if past choices had been different 500,000 people wouldn't have had to suffer, and any other numbers you want to add to that.

Honestly mate you're just making a fool of yourself posting pull quotes from one trick ponies like Bernie.

    1) Ali Shamkahni is alive. He survived the attempted assassination and is now stable. You probably didn't know that because Bernie didn't mention it.

    2) Ali Shamkahni was a key individual sanctioned on two separate occasions by the Biden government. The first for his involvement in the production and allocation of ballistic missiles to be used in Yemen. The second for his role in ensuring the disappearance of thousands of candidates from Iran's rival parties so as to ensure an election that would be as rigged as possible. You probably didn't know this either because Bernie didn't mention it.

Starmer has spent this whole thing poncing about trying to not upset anyone and getting slaughtered by all sides regardless so it’ll be over by the time he makes a decision.

Well it would be nice if we had a PM willing to publicly announce that the US and Israel are run by lunatics who need to get ****ed, but I doubt any leader will do that.

It would be nice if we had a PM who stuck with important allies rather than trying to appease voters he’s lost if he spends the next four years on top of Big Ben in a keffiyeh.

That was based on lies. I'm not attaching any fact that they have nuclear weapons to my reasoning in why they need dealing with, that's just an extension of. You know as well as I do Iran have been behind most the **** in Middle East, they can't be trusted, shouldn't be trusted and have needed reigning in for a long time but no one has had the balls to do it, or the moment wasn't right. All the grief we've had even with our shipping all goes back to the actions of Iran in one way or another. A rogue state. And I don't hold America in any high esteem, far from it, I just find it extremly odd that people are happy to condemn Israel but happy to accept Iran's military regime, happy to condemn Trump, but again not a bunch of raving lunatics that helped Assad, the future possibility of them having nuclear capabilities is horrifying. Was the astocities in Syria not enough for us. Nah sorry mate, they need dealing with. Everything we see today, links back to Iran, including 7th Oct.

Tbph I felt all along we shouldn't be dealing with Gaza (can't remember if I said it or not), we needed to deal with the main dog, finally we got there but went arse about face with it.

    Yes and no.

Going for Iran from the beginning would have opened up four fronts for Israel to deal with simultaneously. Hamas to the west, Hezbollah to the north, Houthis to the south and Iran to the east. I think even with all the help in the world that would have been overwhelming for them. We forget that Israel is an absolutely tiny country, roughly the size of Wales.

I think Israel went about this in the right way. Cut off the tentacles one by one, then a limited but crucial foray into Iran back in October which appeared to target the Hezbollah brass but was actually much more about getting the measure of Iran's air defences and how to get around them. It was a highly successful reconnaissance mission that set up the stage for what we're seeing now.

I think it was counting on more western support in dealing at least with the various tentacles, but apart from limited activity against the Houthis and aid in shooting down Iranian ballistics, the west has done what it does best - **** all.

There was certainly good reason for more intervention. The Houthis should have been crushed the moment they started blocking global shipping lanes in the Red Sea in the name of 'freeing Palestine'. Similarly Hezbollah should have been crushed the moment that deadly explosion in Beirut showed just how lost Lebanon is as a sovereign state.

The overarching problem is that there are too many people out there with acute brain damage who lap up and turn a blind eye to every and any atrocity, as long as it is doing in the name of 'resistance to Israel'. It is peddled by the mainstream media and lapped up by weak western governments the world over.

So here we are. Israel is doing the world's dirty work for it.
