Alright, caaaaalm down lads. Last season, we got a crop of awful refs and it's good to see a few decisions going in our favour this season. I don't get the scorn directed towards Vicarage Road. At least it's a traditional stadium where you can create an atmosphere. Would have been all to easy for Watford to go build a drone-drome like Leicester or Donny did, and I respect them for sticking to their traditional ground. And yeah, I'll have some humble pie after my prediction. All the signs pre-match pointed towards a Leeds win though, in mitigation. Good match thread and I look forward to destroying Watford 7-0 at Elland Road. The way things are going, Watford aren't in a relegation battle, but I certainly don't buy the claim that they have a squad more capable of challenging than we do. Could be one of these sides that races up the table towards the end though, and they're always one to keep a wary eye on.
Fair enough, I think Becchio and Snoddy are our current top earners, both on £11k. We've also got 3 academy graduates in the regular starting 11, the first time in a while there's been a sizeable presence and it's great to see.

It is strange that so many teams believe all they need to do is arrive andtake three points from Watford then get all upset when they do not. This happened last season also. Watford my not have the most money to buy the best players but the one thing they are rich in is team spirit and that has been a good thing to have. I keep hearing that decisions even themselves out in a season, Leeds may now be due something really terrible, but the way Watford have been treated over the last few years by the referees we need to have all the balancing in one season and get promoted. Also I am sure that the Leeds supporters will agree with me that the most obvious penalty is never awarded to our teams but the opposition will always have a weak decision in their favour. Or the match will continue ubtil the other team score a goal to win or draw.
Who is being delusional?? Before today a few Leeds fans came on our board and proclaimed that you would walk this match and win by 3/4. If you can point out how our fans have been delusional then we will be even. But even so, there is no need to start swearing. After 1 draw against us and despite trailing us by god knows how many points, at least 1 of ur fans believes u will easily make the playoffs while we wont be anywhere near. That is deluded!. Also if i get sworn at i will swear back.
Well we are all deluded then. Although its not delusion, its just self-belief. It always seems ridiculous to other teams because they only see us for 90mins and they dont know our team. We could argue that you wont go up, and how deluded you are. But you know your team better than us, but also based on today you would not. Its just banter. I did not swear at you, so there was no need to swear at me.
