It stings them that the people they tried to demonise turn out to be on the right side of history, and more virtuous than them.
Let's be honest, stings/smarts/hurts/embarrases. It does'nt matter the word the fact that Robinson turned out to be right and your Priminister has decided an enquiry needs to be held into grooming gangs has thrown your world a bit sideways.
It's just another unnecessary corner dopey keef's painted himself into because of his lack of political nouse. If they get a light sentence, all sides kick off, a heavy sentence, and there'll be Fentanyl George style protests. If they'd grasped the nettle from the get go, as well as applying the law equally on other cases, keef would at least have an argument to offer. His old mates in the CPS and judiciary must feel he's thrown them to the wolves.
He hasn't really 'decided' has he. He's been pushed to act because he's a dithering fanny with no real political mind. He couldn't decide what a woman was until the Supreme Court decided for him, and he thought this review would calm things down as the lady taking it was making what for him were the right noises at the start, but once she started to see the extent, was forced to push it as she has. Apparently they've had this report for ten days, and announced it when he was safely out of the Country. The Ministers should have more self respect than to let him leave them to the backlash.
You have really really let me down with this yank ****e. What the **** does it even mean? If you said from the off or from the start it would mean something but this yank ****e makes no sence at all. Pet hate of mine which is sneaking into the English language for no apparent reason other than films/TV.
