    That....might not work.

It does feel like the promoted teams have a far better chance of staying up this season, with what's going on at Brentford/Wolves/Bournemouth. Not a good chance, but a lot better than last season.

Went to Cliftonville and Glentoran before Christmas. Had a little chuckle when I saw Jim

Yeah it’s going as well as it can be for Leeds at the moment. Their team is still really **** for PL standards but no doubt those three are weaker than they were last season. Obviously still a long way to go for all of that to change.

As for Parker I don’t really know. He’s not had a real crack at the PL as far as I’m aware. Gets teams promoted then sacked, maybe with a more established side he might do well. Arguably the greatest Championship manager ever but not really had a long stint in the PL

I'm actually very pleased that KDB is still going to be playing in a top league for a top team rather than join Messi in the MLS. Serie A will suit his game as well, not as fast paced as the PL.

Some Rangers fans aren’t impressed with Russell Martin.

Is that Jack Russell the dog or the wicket keeper?

Good article from independent on Wolves and lack of connection between fans and players(clubs longest serving player is four years)

They certainly appear to be following our trajectory and although the manager seems good, they need a decent window

Is that binary notation, or a complete stuffing?

Auckland FC who topped the A-League (australia pro league) have spent most of the day explaining that Auckland City FC is not the same thing - apparently without much success.

Just watched the start of the Chelsea game and genuinely got pissed off watching the players walk out one at a time.
Why don’t the Americans just **** off with their meddling in our game and if they do the same for the World Cup then they can just **** the **** off.

I heard that in the FOFA club rankings Auckland are roughly 9500th in the world and fpr comparison the closest English club to them in the rankings is Barnet FC (National League)

I'm sure the 10 fans in the stadium really enjoyed it.

it is a strange thing that we have competition where amateur teams are drawn against champions league winners. Not sure what the point of that is.

Souped up golf in shock last placed finish in the Monaco Grand Prix!

The south american teams in the competition are bringing their typical approach to the world stage uncut. The games I've seen so far have had them kicking lumps out of the opponents. Its going to be interesting to see how its handled by FIFA and the officials.
