Yeah, it's a pisstake because - allegedly - Trent's arsehole brother is trying to engineer a free for Robbo to Atletico.

That said, Alvarez for under £40m (unlikely) would be sound if it left money over for a CB or DM.

I hope most of these rumours are unfounded (tbf, they usually are), because if they came to be next season's team would be largely unrecognisable and I'm a firm believer in continuity.
I'm hoping that because we've shown a readiness to buy, all the media hacks are just throwing everything into the mix hoping to get lucky.

I'd imagine Robertson would command a fee given his ability to defend and chip in with assists.

Don't think we would entertain a lowball figure or a free (he's in contract and more than likely has plenty in the tank for next season to help us)

Hmm, a bidding war is about to happen, with United now in prime position, it would appear.

Robertson is not what he once was. I'd absolutely sell him for £20m.

    There's no 20mil.

The man is 31 and since the shoulder injury his stamina has dropped massively.

If its 10 then its 10.

If he hasn't the heart or balls to fight a players who's not even been bought and is talking his exit then out you ****ing go.

I'd happily wave robertson goodbye on a free. He's been absolutely immense for us. Probably not enough left to be first choice, but certainly enough to be first choice in Spain.

10mil is nothing, a good send off after the prem win would be worth the money.

Sometimes it's nice to be nice rather treating players like they are ****e or they've ****ed your dog, when they are just moving football clubs.

Still got in ahead of Tsimakas so he had plenty to offer and worth more than other LBs in the league I'd say even on a bad day. Otherwise we would have replaced him sooner.

    Can **** off with that.

Hey if he wants to leave, fair enough, but if he's going it's for money.

Can't be letting a player, who is still under contract for another year, leave for nothing. He has a value, that is important for the club, and therefore A.Madrid can pay it, or send a player in return.

Trent and his brother are coming off as real turds this summer.

    Sorry but no.

Just posted above, he has a value and it's important to running the club. In this day of PSR and FFP, letting players go for nothing does not fly.

Football is a business and if we want to keep progressing knowing football is a business is massively important. This type of thinking prevented us from winning a league title for 30years, you only have to look at how ManU latched onto this notion of professional business running of a football club in the early 90s, while we floundered around trying to modernise to prove that sentiment and old school thinking isn't how things work anymore.

Robbo can move if he doesn't want to compete for the spot, but the club he's moving too can pony up.

Well kerkez is coming in. So are we keeping all 3?

Simi at least has age on his side, robertson only has 12 months left on his contract and is 31.
    ****ing lol.

Madrid are ****s, trents a ****, how dare they behave in such a way

Release robertson for **** all, no football is a business first and foremost. No room for sentiment here.

Well yes of course. I wouldn't begrudge any player in their final years, not quite good enough for the team a send off and a thankyou.

Edit: but reading again, I think you've missed the point
