At Cresswells age, he hadnt played any top 5 league games. Cresswell is far ahead of him regarding games in the top 5 leagues at this age. Cresswell is English so far less chance of getting selected for internationals although he has won u21 championships and is currently playing in another.
Maybe Emu is hoping that before signing the contract, he might just be checking all the Leeds forums, to see what fans think of him as a potential signing

Nmecha can't say i know much about him but he played English international football at u16,u17,u18,u19,u20,u21 level. then somehow turned German and played at u21 and 1 appearance for the main squad He's 26 has been at Man City,Preston,Boro,Anderlecht,Wolfsberg. Looks like he's never settled anywhere since 2020 played 100 games for Anderlecht and Wolfsberg scoring 34 goals. Should really know him but honestly hand on heart I don't have a scooby doo. Looks like this one is done coming from the better sources for July 1st on a free transfer.
oh yeah he is a centre Forward who can play both wings. 3 goals for Preston in 40 odd appearances no goals for boro or City in a handful of games. Can't judge as like i said don't have a scooby doo but does seem to be hitting the highs of his career now only looking on stats mind.

I wanted to send Charlie Cresswell out on loan. He needed to play games. Apparently Farke doesn't like that type of centre half so we sold him. Then a year later we want to buy a big numb centre half for 3 times as much. It is a bit of a head scratcher is all I'm saying. Or am I way off on his playing style here? Maybe he is the next Beckenbauer or Rio coming through.
