I'm not surprised. If I wanted to watch highlights of endless chances missed, I would get down to Melwood and watch Carroll train.
They despise us at the moment, by no means was it a poor game. When Man Utd win 1-0 they all always at least 4th on- Yes they are challenging for the title but when they played Villa last week chances were few and far between and was the worst game of Saturday.
The worst one this year by far was MOTD2s coverage of the Reds vs Chavski game....programme on for 70mins and the ONLY game played on that Sunday still only got 11 mins with the ****ers showing Liverpool getting 2 chances...and they only bothered showing them because they were our 2 goals Not like we completeley dominated the first half is it? Or had a stack of decent chances in the second?
They have to get their orgasms over Utd in first then they can sit quietly through the rest of the programme. I watch the Utd bit with the sound down because I can't stand the sycophantic commentary.
Wigan vs west brom before us? What a joke. There are probably more Liverpool fans just in Wales than west brom and wigan fans combined nationwide. Motd and the bbc need to get their priorities and prejudices sorted.
its not all bad....I was watching el classico and thought id missed the Liverpool highlights. By being on last, Ive gotten to watch Barca v real. Miss man Utd and then finishmy footballing day with a Liverpool Win......Time for 7 hours of boxing, then up at 7 to make my wife a wedding anniversary brekkie..So glad she wants to stay in and have a film day...may just have a little kip
The BBC dont want viewers to watch just the first half hour. There are more Liverpool fans in the UK, (that are not in bed by now) than anyone else, bu putting us on last they get greater viewers for the duration....
Wasnt it last week that Man Utd had a hatful of chances and won 1-0...Pretty sure they were not on last.....I say whack Agger upfront next week with Suarez.....Dont know why, i just think he is awesome and would love to see him score a hatful.....It worked for Paul Warhurst...lol
I have to say it does feel like someone at the BBC is having a bit of a laugh. Couple of Chelsea fans perhaps going for the wind up for putting us last!? Not the first time either, remember the derby was at the back of the programme too? Is starting to annoy me. I actually fell asleep and missed the highlights and am watching them now!
My thoughts at the time. I didn't watch it live, but watched the highlights which left me thinking "i thought we domintated the first half?". Definately something up.
Lineker says the editor picked and someone has to go last...but why is it we never see Man Utd, Arsenal or Chelsea closing the show?
