Why is it that whatever the occasion, Messi is always outstanding? He is a joy to watch.

Busquets, Daniel Alves and Fabregas have been pathetic as usual though. Along with the usual suspects from Real <grr>

Messi got away with that because he's Messi, ridiculous.

Real have played well, Barca were slow to get going but took the goal well, in for a good second half

Lucky not to be sent off? Back chat and a trip in the centre circle is a sending off in a derby. Don't be daft. <doh>

Good finish from Alexis but he was ****e the rest of the half, I'd rather see Pedro, Villa or Cuenca playing. Xavi's been poor, and Valdes shocking.

Messi, di Maria, Ozil and Pepe the best players on the pitch in the first half.

Think a booking would have been harsh but he clearly was affected by the fact it was Messi.

If it hadn't have been Messi I think it'd have been red. The first yellow was pretty soft too.

I agree, but he might have bottled it because the first yellow was fairly soft as well.
