It's clear that a red line has been crossed and this was confirmed by the IAEA last week. Israel was just waiting for that report before pressing the button and continuing what it started months ago.
We agree on this. My question was based on my thoughts of who should be allowed the capabilty and who shouldn't. America opened this box and now it's open to the whole world who should decide who is worthy of it and who is not?
The IAEA report revealed that Iran built and has operated several secret and therefore undeclared nuclear enrichment facilities since the early 2000s. This therefore has **** all do to with Trump canning a deal that stood for the absolute worst of Western naivety, being as it is that Iran started its path to nuclear armament when Trump was still hosting The Apprentice.
For Isreal to say a red line has been crossed for attacking civillian areas is an absolute joke after the total destruction of Gaza they performed
The only vision I have Diego is this one: I think we as a military might (UK) have got very complacent along with the rest of the EU since the end of the cold war, with exception maybe of Poland. If we had not made the mistakes we made through that complacency, then Putin would not be so cocksure of himself today. It's time to stop making these mistakes, and deal with the future before the future deals with us. Sadly that means dealing with Iran now. Those that already have nuclear capability will always be a risk to humankind, whoever they maybe, because we all know one day something will trigger the abyss through a complete misunderstanding
I don't think it's fine for anyone to. Shouldn't be a single nuclear weapon anywhere on planet earth. The fact that there are countless thousands (and those are just the ones we know about) is a damning commentary on the human race.
Israel is far, far from perfect. But Iran is a totally different level. Millions of Sudanese are starving or dead because of Iran. Millions of Yemenites are displaced or dead because of Iran. Half a million Syrians are dead because of Iran. Lebanon was a failed state for decades because of Iran. The Palestinians have been used as puppets and props for decades because of Iran. The West is awash with drugs manufactured and smuggled in for gangs to sell because of Iran. Israel's beef is with the Palestinians. Iran's is with almost the entire world. It is everywhere. Its destruction is everywhere. Its scars are on everything. Enough is enough.
So now you're saying Iran should be allowed nuclear weapons because Israel has them and it isn't fair? I thought you were anti proliferation? This is nuclear weapons, Diego, not some kid that didn't get cake at a birthday party because the fat kid took two slices.
You put into words what I can't even be arsed to think about, but in a nutshell it's good enough explanation for me.
With this I agree ... but ignoring what Israel is doing in the West Bank is ignoring the bigger picture ... defend your borders by all means .. but extending your land mass illegally needs to be called out for what it is ... and condemned... not enough of that on here for me ... but that is obviously because I am an anti-Semite and a Hamas supporter rather than just calling it for what it actually is ... illegal colonialism...
I blame Iran for arming Hamas. And Qatar for funding them. The Palestinians deserve far better "leaders". Wouldn't you agree?
Fosse ffs, I never ever talk about the West Bank, don't think I've even ever made reference to it. If you got a beef over it, that's fine by me, but it;s not my beef. I got enough problems keeping you lot in orderly line. Someone please talk about the West Bank to Fosse.....because I'm off to bed.
I am not talking fair or unfair like in a playground. What i am asking is who decides who can have neuclear capability.
