I don’t think Mayenda is quite far ahead

he will become a lot better over time. But not yet

 

Maybe not miles ahead, but he's ahead for me and surely that gap will keep growing

 

Funny you say that because as I was typing I thought people will pull me on that comment. I’m just really high on mayenda and think he will be something special.

Defo don’t think striker is anywhere near our priority though, just depth imo

 

Would still like a striker in who's better than what we've got, but can provide competition too.

I didn't watch him much in France but from what I've heard he's played well

He looked good for the 21s this last week but I would have the slightest of concerns about him in a 2 man partnership. Some of his best work has come in a back 5.

 

we definitely need a third striker - what if Isidor and Mayenda get injured? Maybe Vanat (or some other first-team signing) and Jayden Danns - I really think we need 4 - they usually play 30 or 60 minutes each - and I think we will need to overload on forwards when chasing a game

 

Cresswell starting for U21s ahead of Egan-Riley so that’s promising. Would be very happy with him and would be a good long term signing

 

Be 200% behind Cresswell. Massive scope for improvement.

Yep I sometimes thought he was over aggressive playing in a 2, not seen loads of him in France (pretty much played in a 3) but hoping he's controlled that aggression

 

I'll let you off, basically all his games on the left for millwall

 

Of course we need another but they wont be a guaranteed starter. Mayenda deserves his chance and isidor too

we need to spend the main money on a centre back, right winger and a cm who would instantly walk into our starting 11 imo

 

Cresswell is a big yes from me. Huge improvement on the links to Tanganga and Caleta-Car.

 

Same thoughts, he got embarrassed against us for millwall for that exact same reason - but that was a couple years ago now and centre halves develop quickly at that age
