I don't want to be negative but it does have all the hallmarks of one we'll eventually miss out on. If Sheff U are interested there are a few rungs below them on the ladder before you get down to us realistically, and someone else between us and them will come in for him you'd think. I think at one point we had a bit of pull but after last season I can see domestic players seeing us as a dodgy place to come, a good chance of being in a miserable relegation battle.

To be fair, it was poisonous long before Musk took over. Probably the reason he bought it, an echo chamber for the dumbest of the dumb
City appear to have stopped the leaks so this does smack of an agent using us to get more elsewhere. I fear that if we were seriously at the table we would be ensuring his trap was kept shut and it would be done quickly.
