Is the paused transfer window just for PL clubs or the real clubs too?

Yes, but I think you misunderstood the conversation. We were comparing the Jobe deal to the Delap deal, and (I believe) Cave was saying Jobe isn't worth 30m.

Why close it...what is the point?

 

It's because there's a maximum number of days it can be open for, and they wanted to open it earlier to facilitate the Club World Cup, so they chose to go with the gap in the middle to satisfy that.

Why there needs to be an upper limit and why it couldn't be adjusted for this scenario, I do not know.

Baz thinks we’ll sell Alzate and Puerta. Also thinks Mehlem, Ömür, Pedro, Simons, Jacob and Racioppi will all go. He said the club aren’t actively trying to sell Drameh but bids of £1 million and up would get their attention.

Think we could get at least £10 million in transfer fees from selling Mehlem, Ömür, Pedro, Simons, Alzate, Drameh, Jacob and Racioppi. Puerta we should slap a high price tag on before entertaining offers.
