    This, a million times over.
Senna was by far the most sensible option.

Grosjean has looked quick in practice sessions though, far better than Senna. I would have kept Petrov though, he's a known quantity and a decent driver. Looks like Boullier doesn't like being told that the team is crap.

Am I the only one who thinks Senna's chances of a race seat are almost negligible, as sad as it is to accept this :(, unless there is a miracle...

I do :(. Perhaps its because we're the only ones following his chances closely. They're very low.

Still, he dug himself out of a deeper hole last year.

He has said that he is feeling better about his chances this year than he was this time last year, so don't know if he has got something up his sleeve. Hope so.

Luckily for him I believe Senna has some money behind him and Williams will like that. It was a bad year for Williams so next year they may be a little better.

    Ahh that explains it :p

Senna isn't going to Williams. They want a more experienced driver and if they were going to sign a younger driver/rookie, it would probably be Bianchi.

I doubt the race of champions had much to do with Grosjean replacing Petrov, but Boullier is a nut so you never know. I think Grosjean's GP2 domination was a big factor, as were Total. Now we could see Petrov possibly replacing Timo Glock.

Just seen someone post this on the Autosport forum.

The same source that initially reported Grosjean to Lotus is saying that Kobayashi could be replaced by Bianchi:
    http://translate.google.ru/translat...w.toilef1.com/Exclusif-Autour-de-Bianchi.html

Bianchi is not being retained by ART for the 2012 GP2 season, and in the most recent episode of the Flying Lap, Luca Baldisserri mentioned that they were pushing hard to convince one of the teams to hire Bianchi.

Hopefully this is just wishful thinking from the French - I'd hate to see Kobayahi out of F1.

Kobayashi is already an F1 overtaking legend! He really has a large cult following and it'd be very sad should he not be in the sport next year.

A shock replacement of Perez maybe. it is silly season so who knows who's seat is safe (except Vettel, and probably Alonso (maybe))

But they want Perez in the car for the same reason they would want Bianchi! Unless it's some kind of Liuzzi/Klien type deal (remember back before Red Bull were famous and when Liuzzi was meant to be an up-and-coming talent?)

It would fit with being tied to a Russian car manufacturer, but with Glock being signed to 2014 at least, I think they'd need another team to want Glock. How about Glock to Williams and Petrov to Marussia?

Sutil must be nailed on for the Williams seat, with Hulk and Di Resta getting the Force India seats. I think Toro Rosso will retain their drivers. Ricciardo probably back at HRT. Can't see Senna or Petrov getting a drive.
