Get real, we were played off the park today. We were lucky not to be beaten by 4 or more.

Spot on twins, we have a run of games in February and March which if we're still behind the Swans and Canaries at the end of we can start worrying

So were Norwich at Anfield, which is pertinent to this thread.

Guys, IMO we just dont have enough firepower at the moment for 2 reasons:

    1. Our forwards are not good enough. Bootsy has been very very disappointing so far. DJ with a run of games might score us some goals, or might not. HH has been excellent and we badly missed him today although we become far more direct when he plays. Hulse and Pat are just sh**e.

    2. Our midfield has very very little creativity. Ali and Joey might run their socks off for us, but neither has the ability to drive forward with the ball and split a defence on a regular basis. FFS when we have the ball, one of them should be committed to the attack. Not happening enough. Mackie is a good guy, we all like him. He will always give 100%, but he is not exactly the most creative player in the world. He is also untested at this level. SWP has been our biggest disappointment. His end product is rubbish and you end up with two wide men (Mackie and SWP) who will run all day but produce nothing.

Our midfield lacks creativity. We need to buy very well in Jan to address this and not to many good players will be available. Our forwards can't score unless the quality comes from midfield.

Taarabt. must. play. I'm not sure I actually care if he wants to still be with us or not, surely everyone else can see we have no one with a creative edge?

Col, its decision time my friend, do we want a player who will run all day for us and produce buck all, or a player who won't run an inch but can win the game for us in less than a heart beat.

For ****'s sake!! We HAVE the creative player we need, but Taarabt has been tragically marginalised. He's our best player by a mile and was playing every game till Barton arrived. Nuff said!!

Nuts is right, we don't have quality up front. However, I would like to see Faurlin given a more forward role in the side, he has the creativity to hurt teams but is all too often wasted playing simple passes in his own half. It's no co-incidence he has even been looked at as a possible replacement for Modric by Spurs. If we don't utilise his quality we may be sucked into the relegation dogfight...

A lot of sense on here this evening. Only hope that Warnock sees the light soon.

Absolutely mate. I paid a lot of money for my season tickets this year and I want to see our best player given the freedom to win us some games! Barton is turning into a huge mistake and, amazingly, not cos he's a twat, but cos he's not playing very well and his introduction has marginalised Taarabt.

I can't KNOW it for sure. But making Barton captain and stripping Taarabt of it; many rumours of Joey giving him a hard time; Joey criticising him in public; Adel appearing to be scared to try anything and getting rid of the ball as quickly as possible (a sure sign of a player who's confidence is shot to pieces and is afraid of the bollocking he'll get if he tries something different). NW seemed in awe of Barton when he signed him, calling him one of the best English midfielders...MY ARSE he is!!
Taarabt should have had the team built around him and left to produce what we are desperately short of....goals!!

North your defense of COLIN is admirable but you've gotta loosen the aprin-strings and let him stand on his own two feet!!

    **** me assumption !
    Its plain enough
We are QPR in the premier league due to the outstanding performances of the best player we have had in 20 years
I want success for QPR with a equal passion as everyone but it plain and our destiny hangs on the Adel Taarabt story ... Without him we are ordinary but still good enough to stay up with him we would be outstanding

I fear it maybe too late and to the knobs on here who have rubbished him ... I pity you my brothers but you are sadly very wrong ... It's very clear that the Barton effect has caused a lot of disruption to our team spirit and he has done little to put that right

If Taarabt goes then anyone who laughs at that is not a brother of mime
The lad has acted out of order of course but sorry he was the heart of our team ... I find it all too much and I will be proved right ... Wannock isn't the sort to admit his failings and Taarabt must play against UTD
